As Project Manager, Capital Projects, you will oversee all upgrades to Bastion’s income producing property portfolio. This could range from complete building renovations to smaller unit servicing. For larger scale projects Bastion will utilize the services of external construction management partners and thus in this instance would be an owner’s representative project management position. You will manage all aspects of construction projects including design, preconstruction, liaising with various stakeholders and Municipalities, managing project budget and schedule, contractor pre-qualification and procurement, and overseeing construction activity. To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5(+) years’ project management experience working for a general contractor. Prior experience managing either multifamily, commercial, or light industrial projects considered an asset. This role would be best suited to someone who is well-organized, detail-oriented, and is able to relate to a wide variety of people. Many candidates who work for a general contractor like the idea of working for a Developer and this role would present the perfect opportunity to make that transition.
