Child Care is a key priority for all levels of government and B.C. is taking important steps to implement a integrated early care and learning system that provides quality and affordable child care to more families. Under Childcare BC and the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement, B.C. is on the path to build a child care system that reduces child care fees for parents, builds more licensed spaces, and increases supports for those working in the sector.
The Service Delivery Manager plays a critical role in leading the implementation of the government’s child care mandate.
This position reports to the Director, Affordable Child Care Benefit, Band 4. With the growth of the branch with the new Child Care Benefit program, there is the addition of the Child Care Operating Funding group, an expanded Child Care Subsidy Group and the Operations and Performance Management group that all require excluded leadership. This job supervises a large service delivery team of staff, virtually and/or in person.
