Your opportunity:
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst, HR Operations to join our HR Operations team which can be based out of any of our locations across Canada and will be responsible for the following:
Maintain and enhance monthly/quarterly/bi-annual reporting
Learn and implement practices from the people analytics field to support data-driven decisions
Leverage automation for reporting in PowerBi and Excel
Manipulate and compile large data sets and build reports, visualizations, and dashboards for the business
Create and maintain Workday reports including creation of calculated fields
Deliver meaningful, accurate and timely HR analytics and key performance indicators
Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad hoc reporting requests

Your experience and education
Skills and abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal clients and provide timely follow up and resolution
Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the end user needs and situation
Strong project management, prioritization, organization, and time management skills
Robust critical thinking capabilities and an innate drive to improve how things work
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
Keeping track of new innovations with the analytics space and how they can be used
Strong attention to detail
Requirements:
Educational background revolving around analytics
Passion for analytics, strong initiative to learn and implement analytical concepts
Some knowledge in programming and/or database programs (e.g. SAS, SQL, MS Access, R, Python) and BI tools such as Power BI, Excel and/or Tableau
If you have a University Degree or Diploma in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent, it will be considered an asset
