Your opportunity:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be joining a team of sophisticated TA professionals who have a lot of fun doing serious work. Delivering people centric talent acquisition experiences through meaningful relationships, enabling digital innovation while directly adding value to our firm culture is at our core. While owning the following responsibilities, you will be able to work remotely within any of our offices across Canada:
Provide talent acquisition expertise to our leaders and hiring managers to help define needs and talent requirements while developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver high caliber talent and timely results.
Foster external relationships and develop social networks of highly skilled professionals
Understand your service line and national/local markets to ensure the team is a front runner within our talent markets.
Collaborate with the business line leaders to understand current and future talent requirements
Work in partnership with hiring managers/Partners and the HR team to clarify role specifications while keeping in mind any market data (i.e. hot skills)
Consult on talent acquisition activities, best practices, candidate sourcing and recruitment strategies that support the goals and direction of the Firm
Act as a brand ambassador, building and communicating the Firm’s employee value propositions
Understand the financial goals of the business and contribute to reaching and exceeding those goals.

Your experience and education
You have an equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the role
You are able to deliver consistently high levels of service to your hiring managers and Partners as well as ensure a positive candidate experience
You have exceptional sourcing capabilities
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
You have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Human Resources, particularly in staffing and recruitment
You bring proficiency with the use of relevant computer software including MS Word and Excel, HRIS/HRMS, and performance and talent management systems
If you have previous experience working for a professional services firm, it will be considered an asset.
If you are bilingual, it would also be considered a strong asset.
