As a Service Technician, your responsibilities include:

Respond to internal and external customer calls ;

Provide technical service and maintenance assistance at customer sites.

Assist field service technicians with technical issues ;

Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing field equipment and providing technical training.

Validate and analyze requests in depth to resolve issues;

Follow up on resolutions and collect relevant information

Arrange calls with external customers and assist them in resolving their technical issues;

Update and track ticket information

Assist technicians to guide them remotely in resolving issues;

Redirect more complex issues to the department supervisor;

Assign and escalate requests

Document case resolution in the troubleshooting chart ;

What you need to succeed:

Experience in heavy industrial mechanics (diesel, hydraulic, electrical, electronic);

Electrical diagnostic skills

Good knowledge of computer systems

Automotive background 5 years +

Red seal or master grade certificate (asset)

Bilingual (asset)

Skills:

Good teamwork – customer service

Education and experience :

AEC in Electric Vehicle Technology or other related training;

Minimum of 4 years experience in customer support;

Minimum of 3 years of system level problem diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Experience in the automotive field 5 years or more
