Summary
The Senior Manager, HR Communications is responsible for leading the development and management of the company’s HR self-service content library. This includes creating and updating resources that help employees and people leaders find information about HR policies, programs and procedures. The ideal candidate must have a proven ability to influence business decisions in a cross-functional team and a relentless drive towards results. The candidate must also demonstrate superior written communication skills and strong project management skills. This role reports to the Digital HR director and will support a team of 2 specialists (with the possibility to complement the team with HR new grad(s) and/or contractor(s) as required).
Key Responsibilities
Develop new HR digital content strategy and roadmap, in particular regarding the transition of HR content from the current employee intranet to knowledge articles within ServiceNow.
Oversee the rapid delivery of improvements to HR self-service content library as per agreed-upon roadmap under an agile framework.
Develop meaningful executive dashboards across various data sources to monitor the quality of the self-serve content, the adoption from employees and people leaders and the impact on HR cases deflection.
Develop a new governance model to continuously identify the need for new or updated HR digital content.
Set up productive partnerships with multiple HR teams to support HR priorities and launch of new HR initiatives
Efficiently lead a team of specialists
Critical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the HR and/or corporate communication field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Ability to analyze HR data for insights and decision-making.
Proven track record of designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces leveraging known User Experience (UX) principles.
English Required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership role in the HR and/or corporate communication field.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
Experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives leveraging project management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
