The Sales Planning & Reporting team is looking for someone to manage SMB Channel Compensation Design & Execution.
Main responsibilities
Act as point of contact for SMB compensation, provide insights when required
Development & execution of management Sales Bonus plans
Responsible for annual & semi annual sales compensation design changes
Project manage compensation requests, analyze and support deployment of changes in timely manner
Lead cross-functional teams to address and mitigate process exposures
Develop strong working relationships with channel partners, stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Finance
Serve as subject matter expert on sales compensation topics
Participate in compensation negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders
Work with various sales teams to align sales strategy with compensation
Work with Finance team to guide in tracking performance over budget and forecasts
Providing valuable feedback on compensation structure, found through audit, to reduce incoming inquiries
What we’re looking for:
Skills in MS Office, particularly strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Strong knowledge in data mining, modelling, BI and SAS tools
Strong financial and reporting knowledge
The individual must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to accuracy and detail and ability to interpret legal contracts
Undergraduate degree B.A, Marketing, Commerce, Economics or Finance
MBA or professional designation (CPA, CFA, PMP) would be an asset
Enjoys working within high energy team and collaborates cross-functionally with ease
Comfortable managing multiple priorities on a regular basis while respecting tight deadlines
Familiar with the B2B or Small Business segment and environment preferred
Good negotiation skills and ability to influence others
Previous Compensation design and/or Sales Target experience will be an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
3+ years’ experience in a c ompensation role will be an asset
Telecom experience be an asset
