BENDALE Looking for Accountant at Kingston, ON Full Time

CPA or Equivalent Experience

Bendale is a fast growing multi-disciplinary property management and general contracting company, serving eastern Ontario since 1988. We are seeking a CPA OR someone with equivalent experience. Candidates should have a strong finance background (both theory and practical application). A successful candidate would possess the following traits and abilities;

• Quickbooks Desktop – experience essential, intermediate to experienced user
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook & Excel intermediate to experienced user)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills – working well under pressure, having the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player, but strong individual contributor
• Administer payroll, making monthly liability payments to CRA on time and producing annual T4’s
• Reporting WSIB premiums and making appropriate payments
• Complete bank reconciliations, analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, AP, AR, and produce an accurate package of financial statements for publishing
• Interface with external auditors and accountants to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. Resolving queries and bringing the audit to conclusion, in order for annual audited statements to be issued.
• Able to set up new Corporations from Trial Balance
• Liaising with external partners to ensure information is received timely in order to issue accurate monthly statements (example: investment information)
• Prepare HST returns, file and make payments to the Receiver General

Successful candidates would be supported by supported by our financial administration team. Salary is based on qualifications and experience and to be negotiated.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
