Food Service Team Member Full Time

FULL TIME FOOD SERVICE TEAM MEMBERS

We’re looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who want to gain experience in the Japanese cuisine.

A great Sushi Chef and Food Prep Associate, will be quick, attentive and willing to improve on the job. You will be reliable and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen/kiosk. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

Weekends and Holidays availability a must.

NO SUSHI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Bento provides all training.

Job responsibilities:

• Roll high quality sushi
• Teamwork
• Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are adhered.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kiosk.
• Record daily production records and logs.

Working location: Zehrs Markets, 30 King St S, Alliston, ON

Qualifications:

• Must be a team player with good speaking/comprehension skills
• Adept to small areas and precise work
• Handling knives in a safe, quick, and precise manner
• Patient with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen (previous Food Handler Certification an asset)
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to stand extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
