There may be limited evening and weekend work needed, and increased hours ahead of major annual events, such as our annual fall fair.

Reporting to: BAS Executive
POSITION SUMMARY: The Office Administrator position is responsible for providing key, and ocasionally finance focused, administrative support in a professional and confidential manner to the President, Executive, and the Board of Directors of the Binbrook Agricultural Society (BAS) in the day-to-day management of the office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides administrative, finance focused, support to the President, Executive, and the Board of Directors as required:
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take all reasonable and necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all members of BAS. Participate in safety orientation/training as needed. Perform duties in a safe and productive manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, or Administration, or equivalent experience
Work Experience: 3-5 years of accounting/administration experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Personal Characteristics: Positive and professional attitude.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position works frequently with internal and external contacts.
Internal Contacts:
External contacts: City, Fire, Police, other government departments as needed Various Agricultural Societies, Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) Vendors, fair exhibitors, general public inquiries
