BIOVECTRA has an opening for a Logistics and Packaging Associate. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Charlottetown, PEI.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Scheduling and performing packaging jobs based on existing and future sales forecasts.
Preparing items for shipping and performing final verification in accordance with BioVectra quality system.
Daily monitoring of shipment dates.
Completing all required shipping documentation consistently, accurately and in a timely manner for each shipment.
Working with customer order desk dates to complete shipment or packaging jobs.
Adhering to all quality, regulatory and safety operating requirements.
Maintaining FIFO for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) as required.
Proactively looking for and recommending opportunities to improve logistics.
Entering and maintaining required data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Performing and maintaining assigned daily housekeeping duties.
Supporting and providing assistance to warehouse associates when required.
Ensuring TDG training status remains current at all times.
The successful candidate for this position should have:
Post-secondary education, Chemical Technologist diploma considered an asset, or equivalent work experience.
Certification in Transportation and Logistics would be considered an asset.
Two years of logistic and /or warehouse experience.
Experience with cGMP standards considered an asset.
WHMIS/HMIS Forklift and TDG training considered an asset.
Strong problem solving, analytical, oral and written skills.
The ability to work alone or in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license.
