The opportunity:
Working within Blackstone’s Energy Service Inc’s finance team, your responsibilities shall include full-cycle utility bill processing and providing backup support for other finance functions, including accounting, payables, and receivables.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily retrieval for a portfolio of utility bills
Ensure invoices are entered into internal platform and QuickBooks in a timely and accurate manner
Respond to inter-departmental inquiries
Maintain client and vendor information
Escalate appropriately any utility bill adjustments cross-functionally across the organization by department
Escalate and resolve any utility bill discrepancies and necessary adjustments with utilities
Provide cordial, professional and prompt customer service with clients and utility contacts on behalf of the Company
Assist with special projects including process improvement and third-party vendor engagements
Assist accounting reconciliations and other financial reports as assigned by VP Finance and Controller/Accounting Manager,
Perform other duties as assigned by VP Finance and Controller/Accounting Manager
