Job Summary
BLUBC is an education institution that devotes to bring out the best quality education to students at all ages. We are currently looking for a part time Arts History teacher, who is passionate about teaching and is able to inspire and motivate students.
Responsibilities:
- Implement BC High School Curriculum and/or AP standard to meet ambitious academic expectations.
- Deliver course content in a thoughtful and efficient way
- Provide critical feedbacks for every student in a timely manner
- Develop lesson plans for groups and individual lessons
- Assign weekly homework and implement assessments to track each student’s learning progress, and adjust lesson plans accordingly to achieve the highest performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Specialized in Arts, Art History or a relevant field
- Teaching experience: minimum 1 year teaching experience of AP Art History
- Able to teach other Arts related courses would be an asset (e.g., AP Music Theory, AP Studio Art: 2-D Design, AP Studio Art: 3-D Design, and AP Studio Art: Drawing)
- Developed an effective teaching style which can assist students to achieve a high mark in AP exam
- Familiar with BC High School Curriculum and AP curriculum of Art History course
- Able to teach in the afternoon, early evening and weekends
- Excellent communication skills and good work ethic: honest, punctual, responsible

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
