BLU E WATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR T HE FOLLOWING PERMANENT EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION
An Educational Assistant is responsible to the school Principal to provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools.
Permanent Vacancy
One (1) part-time (0.5 FTE) Educational Assistant required.
Schedule: Daily schedule from approximately 10:00am to 1:45pm
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma plus completion of a post-secondary education program in one of the following: Education Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and/or experience.
