To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This position is on site at 8800 George Bolton Pkwy in Bolton, ON
Core Responsibilities
- Drive creation of marketing collateral and develop sales materials.
- Create engaging content for Bolts Plus website.
- Manage social media accounts.
- Coordinate and validate product marketing messaging with the Sales team.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis across multiple market verticals.
- Collaborate to develop, maintain a marketing plan with the Marketing and sales departments.
- Develop and maintain campaigns, messaging and positioning for each product line.
- Deliver specific marketing deliverables outlined in the marketing plan.
- Participate in events to increase engagement in product.
- Manage and maintain our internal ERP, ChannelOnline.
- Create and maintain Product and Pricing files.
- Create bi-monthly booklets by collaborating with Senior Management
- Create weekly / bi-weekly blowout flyers by collaborating with Senior Management
- Print and distribute marketing materials in time for start of promotions
- Print additional marketing materials as requested by the stores/outside sales reps
- Maintain the online flyer, ensure expired promos are taken down and current promos are added promptly
- Ensure online flyer links directly to product being featured
- Create social media content
- Create a buffer of generic social media posts
- Establish and create videos for a Bolts Plus YouTube channel
- Create TV Commercials (CP24, local network affiliates, local community stations)
- Create voice/sound clips for radio commercials and Bolts Plus “On Hold” sound files
- Monitor website for price changes from POS system
- Add weights and measures for new items to website
- Add new/missing items to website
- Monitor/Maintain the “Deal Pricing” in POS system so that flyer prices come up automatically when sold in store
- Manage information on “Google My Business”
- Maintain Toner/Drums/Supplies for booklet printer
- Visit special events (BBQ, training sessions, etc.) to document on social media
- Create content for and maintain the e-mail list
- Create/Maintain content for In Store digital advertising
- Manage business card requests, liaise with Printers for production
- Explore new ideas for advertising and collaborate on opportunities with Senior Management
- Explore new ideas for Promo Items and SWAG. Collaborate on opportunities with Senior Management
- Create/Improve Bolts Plus assortment and packaging labels
- Create and print assortment/bin labels as requested by sales reps so that they conform to Bolts Plus standards
- Establish relationships with online social media “influencers” to explore possibility of partnership. Collaborate on opportunities with Senior Management
- Create/Print in store signage
- Create/Print holiday hours signs for stores
- Create graphics as needed for example: website, truck wraps, trade show display booths, coffee cups, etc
What You Will Bring
- University/College Degree or Diploma in Marketing and Business
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media, and graphic design.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure quality control.
- Strategic thinker with good understanding of brand management.
- Proven ability to prioritize, organize, manage time and multi-task with excellent attention to detail, and be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic, autonomous, and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel to different Bolts Plus locations and events
