In your role, you will:
Optimize the planning and supply chain cycle to meet the operational requirements while minimizing inventory level;
Participate in the development of the process and system changes necessary to enhance Supply Chain performance;
Create and maintain networks externally and internally, such as the Suppliers, Methods, Engineering, Program and Production, to ensure alignment and support for the team;
Manage projects (budgeting, staffing, risk assessment and mitigation) to ensure full Supply Chain performance;
Participate, with other Supply chain directors and managers, to establish strategic plans and objectives;
Identify reasons for process or workflow inefficiencies and develop strategies to overcome issues;
Perform managerial responsibilities and recommends related actions, for example, hiring, disciplinary actions, PMP, training and certifications, work assignments, scheduling vacation, monitoring attendance;
Be accountable for the harmonized schedules, internal and external;
Prioritize resource allocation and team support towards achievement of annual objectives;
Implement key performance indicators to ensure a timely delivery to clients and ensure adherence to the plan;
Lead, manage and coach a team of leaders;
Ensure internal controls are in place and compliance to Bombardier policies.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business administration, Logistics or equivalent;
You have at least 10 years’ experience in all aspects of Supply Chain management (supply planning, demand planning, sourcing, delivery planning, logistics, etc.), coupled with at least five (5) years’ management experience;
You have experience in a complex industry such as aerospace;
You are recognized for your leadership and have a proven track record in coordinating and managing a team;
You possess the ability to excel and remain calm under pressure, to work across a range of management levels, disciplines and cultures
You have extensive experience in negotiation; experience in negotiating services contracts a strong asset;
You have strong capabilities in operations and financial management; You have computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (including but not limited to, MS Office suite, MS Outlook, SAP (or ERP and EWM systems)
You have the ability to communicate with Senior Management across the business as well as external suppliers and possess excellent strategic presentations skills.
You have a high proficiency and are good communicator in French and English (written and spoken).
