About You
Your active-sourcing skills, ability to hire quality talent in a SaaS company, and sharing of Talent Acquisition best practices will be critical in shaping the future of Book4Time! You will also be asked to help us keep a finger on the pulse of a competitive hiring landscape and gain insights to help us compete for the very best talent in the SaaS industry. You will work with a great team of HR professionals and help build out the Talent Acquisition function of attracting, hiring and retaining great talent.
Reporting into the VP, People & Culture the Talent Acquisition Manager is a key hire to ensure we attract, hire and retain the best talent.
What You’ll Be Doing
Execute full-cycle recruiting for SaaS Technology/R&D, Sales, Customer Success, Finance and other business related roles from the front-line to direct levels; 10-15% roles to be hired will be international. Will include active sourcing, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, negotiating offers, and verifying references and may include working with recruiting agencies
Utilize ATS system daily (BambooHR) for tracking all candidates and using data to internally communicate hiring status, improve talent processes and ensure a smooth consistent experience for applicants and hiring managers. Utilize other job boards such as, but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
Promote the company and its new job openings in multiple channels including but not limited to social media, job boards, networking events, job fairs, referrals, and inbound applications to attract the best candidates.
Advise hiring managers ensuring job descriptions are clearly defined and updated, competency-based requirements and compensation are consistent with internal and external benchmarks.
Build and utilize competency-based criteria and behavioral-based interviewing for individual roles to ensure motivation, culture fit and skills/experience of the candidate matches the qualifications for the role, the team and the company.
Research market best practices to guide hiring strategy and improve on current hiring processes. Update the Attraction, Interviewing and Hiring Playbook and gain stakeholder buy-in increasing manager/peer hiring skills organization-wide.
Ensure the interviewing process is executed in a fair, equitable and consistent manner in line with provincial and federal employment standards and Book4Time’s mission, values and culture.
Assist the Human Resources team with talent related projects such as bi-monthly employee onboarding, 90-day performance management, employee relations and other tasks as required.
What You’ll Bring With You
Required: 5+ years experience in full cycle recruiting within technology, software or SAAS industry that use Agile methodologies
Organizational and record keeping skills to track multiple job openings/projects at the same time in a fast-paced growth environment (approx. 10 open reqs concurrently)
Drive and resiliency with a proactive “Sense of Urgency” mindset
Passion for consistent process improvement/innovation
Communication skills, verbal and written, to confidently interact at all levels within the organization and external hiring market (e.g. stakeholder relationships and social media management)
Experience with latest recruitment tools, screening processes, aptitude testing and talent acquisition strategies
Outgoing personality, with strong interpersonal, team and relationship building skills
Big picture thinker
Bachelor’s degree or similar educational experience
