About the Role:
BOSA Properties’ Talent Acquisition team is looking to diversify our skill-set by adding a Talent Sourcing Specialist to our growing team. In an industry that is constantly competing for top talent, the successful candidate will be building an ongoing pipeline of both real estate development and corporate talent. Partnering with our Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role in sourcing qualified talent for unique, niche, senior, and/or executive roles. Key responsibilities:
Curate a market map of exceptional talent for core roles and create a results-oriented strategy around tapping into ‘invisible’ and diverse talent pools;
Assess available and future talent in the market by networking and researching expertise that exists in the local market;
Stay up-to-date on recruitment/talent trends and provide insight to human resources and executive leadership;
Leverage online research and sourcing tools to connect with an untapped talent pool;
Engage passive candidates using active sourcing techniques and exceptional candidate experience;
Actively contribute, support or lead talent acquisition projects related to employer brand, campus recruitment, career fairs, and other initiatives as necessary.

The ideal candidate for the Talent Sourcing Specialist role is a resilient and resourceful recruitment professional who understands the importance of building a pipeline and forecasting for future talent. As BOSA continues to expand our reach, your evaluation and search for candidates are guided not only by your knowledge of the talent market not only in Vancouver but also across North America. Despite your ability to deliver results quickly, you are also careful to align the values of your candidates and the organization, and focus on bringing the right talent into the organization.
Our Must Haves
Minimum three (3) years in a recruitment and/or sourcing role in an agency recruitment environment with fast-paced client demand;
Experience, exposure or a keen interest in the real estate development industry;
Demonstrated ability to listen to and understand the needs of our hiring leaders;
Knowledge of out-of-the-box ideas and strategies to reach the passive talent pool;
Proven ability to work with urgency, accuracy, and persistence to deliver on objectives;
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with talent of diverse backgrounds, seniority levels and experiences;
Academic background in Business Administration, Human Resources or a similar field will be considered an asset and not a requirement.
