The Opportunity
As BrandActive continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team.
As a member of our best-in-class People and Culture team, you will work with the Manager, People and Organizational Effectiveness to manage the candidate experience from start to finish, partnering with Marketing on employer brand and ensuring BrandActive’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion is ingrained in each touchpoint of the overall experience. We are looking for a relationship-focused professional who keeps trust and authenticity at the core of the candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Recruitment, sourcing and selection
Ensure the candidate experience reflects BrandActive’s culture
Own BrandActive’s recruitment process and ensure it is properly followed
Document process changes and ensure all stakeholders are aware of their role in the recruitment process
Provide input to and implement the strategy and operational plan for an inclusive recruitment experience, in partnership with BrandActive’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee
Identify and action opportunities to integrate equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) best practices into the recruitment process
Act as a culture ambassador for BrandActive with all candidates throughout their experience
Own all candidate communication including preparation and debrief and notice of interviews, offer or rejection
Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions
Lead all sourcing efforts
Ensure technology is optimized in the recruitment process (e.g. automation opportunities) in partnership with the Coordinator, People and Organizational Effectiveness
Manage recruitment vendor relationships in partnership with the Manager, People and Organizational Effectiveness
Conduct prescreens for shortlisted candidates
Create candidate presentations for hiring managers
Oversee recruitment administration including background checks, interview scheduling and job postings; ensure administration is complete prior to start dates
People operations
Partner with Marketing on BrandActive’s employer brand program
Contribute to the development and implementation of the People and Culture strategy and related plan that supports the growth and evolution of the business
Support on People and Culture special projects and operations as required
Professional development
Take accountability for own development, creating and updating development plan as required, communicating with people leader around aspirations
Accept and act on feedback provided
Is inclusive and supportive in interactions with colleagues
Contribute to internal initiatives that impact the client and/or team member experience
Bring forward smarter, faster, better solutions to processes and identify opportunities to be more agile in day-to-day activities
Qualifications and Experience
Education and experience
Demonstrated commitment to life-long learning; post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate preferred
Two years relevant experience, preferably including direct sourcing and managing end-to-end recruitment
Familiarity with Management Consulting industry an asset
Familiarity with social media marketing an asset
