The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the effective onboarding and training of new and existing employees. The ideal candidates is an experienced leader with proven facilitation experience, who is able to drive change within the training team and the organization. The Supervisor oversee the Regional Training team who provides training to frontline employees including onboarding, process change and professional development.
Your contributions to the team include:
Managing Regional Training team and ensuring the success of the Broadstreet Onboarding Program.
Effectively communicate and champion the role of training within the organization.
Facilitate and manage training programs for process and software changes, and ongoing employee development.
Work with managers and supervisors to ensure training programs are effective and meet the need of all stakeholders.
Take an active role in training practical hands on, administrative and software-based skills
Stay current on all policy and procedure changes
Coordinate training team and resources to ensure all training provided in a timely manner.
Monitor, evaluate, training activities or program effectiveness
Provide regular and consistent feedback to the Regional Trainers, Training and Safety Standards
Provide relevant Health and Safety training
Provide training support for the implementation of new projects and processes
What you need to be successful:
Post-secondary education in education, leadership, business or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in a role related to training
Minimum 3 years management experience
Experience leading training session and onboarding new employees (virtually and in person)
Experience planning and directing the work of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and experience using an ERP software required
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment
Experience performing administrative tasks following specific policies and procedures
Strong verbal, listening, written communication skills required
Must be willing and able to travel
