To work closely with various multi-disciplinary teams to determine the optimal strategies for the supply chain.
You want to be at the very forefront of defining the logistics strategies of a growing multinational company and want to learn the best practises of the manufacturing industry in the area of logistics.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with vehicle engineering, purchasing, manufacturing strategy and all other teams involved in product development to propose the best logistics strategies for production.
Develop logistics processes in line with the company’s vision and implement innovative methods to continually improve logistics processes, including the management of our packaging requirements.
Identify and analyze project-related budget requirements (new product or new plants), preparing the necessary documentation to achieve this and ensure its follow-up.
Conduct analysis to optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistical labour and our warehousing capacity.
Maintain technological and strategic supervision by staying abreast of the industry’s best practises.
Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts at BRP.
Participate in the development of logistics layouts for new plants.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
A Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations/logistics management, or another relevant field.
Five (5) to ten (10) years of project management experience.
At least (5) years of relevant and significant experience (internal logistics, supply chain management).
Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written, at an advanced level (Spanish would be an asset).
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project).
The ability to communicate and synthesize complex information to diverse audiences, and build presentations.
Sense of initiative and ability to challenge, autonomous, organized and meticulous.
An innovative and inquisitive mindset, strong attention to detail.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
Knowledge of modelling software (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.) would be an asset.
Knowledge of SAP software (WM, MM, PP) would be an asset.
Available to travel.
