We are a growing company in the health bioprotection space and seeking a diligent and motivated Accountant to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detailed oriented, self directed and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Finanical statements and summarize reports for company and inter-company transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, expenses and purchases across the companies including bank reconciliations
- Assist with budget preparations and management
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in accounting or or related field
- Proven experience as an accountant
- Hands on knowledge of accounting software (Dynamics an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
