Position Overview
Calian is proactively seeking an Instructional Designer to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson specifications IAW CFITES Volume 5 such as:
- Using authoring software to assemble eLearning content and publish the course in accordance with the Instruction Design Documents
- Troubleshoot and resolving online course interactions that are not publishing correctly or reporting correctly to the Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle
- Working with instructional designers and SMEs to develop the storyboards for the learning that will be taught using online platforms and software
- Providing advise on the suitable interaction and on the limits of certain applications
- Providing maintenance guides that provide detailed information on maintenance and modifications of eLearning content on the LMS
- Uploading courseware onto the LMS
- Administer the eLearning content on the LMS
- Managing version control of the courseware
- Providing Alpha, Beta and Final versions of eLearning Products
- Provide maintenance guides that provide detailed information on maintenance and modifications of eLearning products
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the training and education program during conduct of the pilot course BETA testing of instructional media
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and offices of primary interest
Additional Requirements
- You must have the ability to work onsite
- You must be a Canadian Citizen
- You must hold or be able to obtain a Government of Security Clearance
