As a designated CPA, you’ll play a key role managing the company’s financial health. Your expertise in financial accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Play a key role in the general ledger, month-end, and year-end closing procedures.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, proactively resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with operational groups across the organisation.
• Safeguard company assets by maintaining strong internal controls.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of a new ERP system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial information flow.
• Implement new accounting policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement.

The company is offering a lucrative compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary, annual bonus, vacation + personal days and benefits. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a passion for excellence.
• Minimum three years of accounting/finance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, navigating complex financial landscapes.
• Retail or consumer goods industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
