About The Role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a regular full-time Employee and Leadership Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Talent Strategy team in our People Culture and Performance division.
The Talent Strategy team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by helping senior leaders to build the talent of the future and to support the effectiveness of the division. As a member of the Talent Strategy team, you will play an integral role in the implementation, delivery, evaluation, and enhancement of development initiatives aligned to organizational, team and individual development objectives. Your primary focus will be to support the growth and evolution of a development culture within the organization and execute on the continuous improvement of our professional development mandate. This includes: the administration, communication, execution and evaluation of development programs, processes, practices, tools, and guidelines that support employees and leaders to develop themselves in a manner consistent with the organization’s needs. You will perform a variety of duties to support and engage the organization in utilizing Talent Strategy programs. A key aspect of this work is to deeply understand the employee experience and continuously improve the process and support to ensure an equitable and inclusive development journey which fosters everyone’s potential. You will also be responsible for supporting the Employee Development Specialist and the Leadership Development Consultant in planning, coordinating, and implementing specific workshops, projects, initiatives and/or components of major, complex projects.
