About this role:
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary Full-Time Marketing Summer Student to join our Donor Relations and Plasma Centre Team. In this role you will be creating and executing the strategy on two exciting projects (an Ambassador Recruitment Initiative and a Post-Secondary Bursary Program). In this remote, work from home opportunity you will part of a highly energized team that focuses on the acquisition of new donors and volunteers as well as increase the engagement and retention of our existing donors and volunteers. Key Responsibilities Include:
Developing two new program initiatives
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and digital assets)
Perform market analysis and research
Education, Training and Experience:
3rd or 4th year post secondary student in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Good knowledge of digital analytics
Previous success in developing digital marketing campaigns
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while remaining flexible
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a valued part of your dynamic team
Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Passion and experience in digital marketing
Previous success in executing different types of tactics across multiple channels
Self-Driven and highly creative entrepreneurial mindset
You know how and where mobile and web differ
You understand the importance of planning, testing and optimization to make sure every step taken is better than the previous one
You like to test new ideas and find unusual solutions
You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment and embrace hard work
