What we’re looking for:

The role of the Logistics Associate is to manage workflow, scheduling production times for each project, and coordinating the receiving and shipment of equipment and supplies. Key skills include:

• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Understanding of quality management principles
• Ability to work in collaboration with others
• Ability to analyse data and understand connections and the talent for recognising the opportunities for process improvement in those connections
• Digital technology skills
• Ability to create and update detailed records and spreadsheets
• Exceptional customer service management skills.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

The Logistics Associate contributes to the overall success of the company by monitoring the production process. They are responsible for maximizing workflow by managing the schedule, coordinating with the warehouse, and working with the Logistics Manager. Some duties include:

• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
• Receives products and coordinates delivery
• Prepares loads for shipment
• Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
• Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
• Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
