What You’ll Do

The Analyst, Advanced Measurement & Analytics, Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for supporting standard / recurring reporting, measurement, and insights on TRM performance, post-campaign performance and in-flight reports. TRM is Canadian Tire Corporation’s (CTC) rapidly scaling Retail Media Network Business across banners. Investing behind this business and scaling it over the next five years is a top strategic priority for CTC. As a member of the TRM team, you will work alongside groups of industry experts in a highly agile, entrepreneurial, and exciting environment. You will make an impact by:
Building and executing a comprehensive measurement plan to evaluate TRM campaigns performance based on specific marketing objectives, and using data to make recommendations on optimization
Supporting the Manager, Advanced Measurement & Analytics, in defining and standardizing methodology for measuring, forecasting, and reporting on media campaign effectiveness including return on ad spend (ROAS), messaging impact, benchmarks, incrementality, and brand lift metrics
Determining best approaches, under the guidance of the Manager, Advanced Measurement & Analytics, for establishing baseline, calculating incrementality, adjusting for seasonality and conducting causal inference and difference-in-difference analysis for TRM campaigns
Developing campaign reports and deriving insights to ensure TRM clients get a real-time and holistic understanding of short and long-term program performance, and can provide input to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their investments to achieve their advertising goals
Analyzing large sets of data and distilling them into actionable insights and trends in a timely manner, to help Sales and Account Management teams strengthen their pitches to vendor/ clients
Supporting the Manager, Advanced Measurement & Analytics in the development of measurement and reporting tools which enable clients with a thorough understanding of the value generated through media network advertising
Leveraging expertise in analytical tools and statistical models to create a system for data science translation into business terms, and deriving a story and strategy from data as needed
Partnering cross functionally with other analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines, processes, and reporting solutions/visualizations to help enhance data narratives
What You Bring
Post secondary education in statistics/ math/ analytics or a related quantitative discipline
1-2 years of experience in Digital Analytics Management, Digital Marketing Insights or Reporting Management role at a publisher, ad network, or retail media network
Strong quantitative and statistical skills, with hands-on experience with analytical tools and languages, including SAS, R, Python or MATLAB, with a working knowledge of designing and driving cross functional analyses
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and experience working with tech and data enablement teams/ tech solution architects to navigate technical requirements to enable data pipelines for ML/DL models
Sound knowledge of db technologies, with the ability to communicate with technical staff to challenge processes and solution complex problems
Demonstrated strategic and analytical reporting approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
