Location: We’re open to candidates working remotely within Canada.
We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our growing team. As an integral member of our People & Culture team, you will get to be the first point of contact for all people-related needs. This role will support the business through the entire employee lifecycle, having an opportunity to work within all areas of HR.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support employees through their lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding through to facilitating their skill and career development, encouraging learning and growth, and assisting in goal setting
Own responsibility of HRIS administration including reporting, promotions, transfers, changes, updates, reconciliation, and onboarding/offboarding tasks
Provide HR administrative support to the HRBPs, including but not limited to performance reviews, talent planning, compensation programs, retention programs and new programs and initiatives
Own, maintain, and continually improve the onboarding and offboarding process
Support in the recruiting and hiring process, from creating job descriptions, working with hiring managers, to interviewing candidates
Work with the HRBPs to prepare all proper employee documentation including offer letters, promotional agreements, and termination and resignation documentation
Answer general HR employee questions, draft letters of employment, and respond to requests for HR information
Perform other related duties as required
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
1-2 years previous experience in a Human Resource or Administrative capacity
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, including tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a sensitive nature
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively with the business
Comfortable using Word, Excel, Power Point, GDrive
Previous experience with HRIS systems an asset
A university or college degree or diploma in HR, or relevant/equivalent work experience
