Canduct Industries Looking for Controller at London, ON Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting functions for the plant, office and external reporting needs

• Accurately report in a timely manner all facets of the daily and monthly reporting systems for the plant including, costing, billing, collections, payables, disbursements, balance sheets and income statements

• Managing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable by providing payroll, banking, and government reporting back-up to the Finance Director

• Preparation of the annual audit package and to act as a primary liaison between Canduct and its outside public auditors

• Liaise with the auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information

• Analyze costs, pricing, and other financial data relative to the day to day operations of the business

• Prepare and report on special projects as requested by Senior Management

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment

• College or University Degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance

• Working towards/possess accounting (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA) designation

• Highly technical accountant that has strong attention to detail and can offer process improvements and innovative solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of proficiency with MS Office(excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)

• Experience in ERP software applications

• Well-organized, proactive and detail oriented individual able to self-manage and work as part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environment

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and associated procedures
