As a Accounting Analyst Intern, you will work closely with your manager and team, participating in one-on-one, on the job training. This position is developmental in nature and provides a great learning opportunity if you’re looking for a progressive challenge. In addition to business support, you will have working relationships with various members of the Crop Inputs finance and commercial teams. Principle Accountabilities

Reporting to the Management Accounting & Reporting Supervisor, you will be accountable for supporting the Crop Inputs finance team with data analysis, year end audit, and/or project work that will contribute to the overall validation of the financial statements and reporting. The main focus is providing accurate and timely analysis using database reporting tools and Microsoft Excel to support:

Reconciling of outstanding balance sheet account items

Adhoc reporting requests

Gathering and providing data for the external audit

Month-end financial reporting Internship Programming

Cargill offers relocation reimbursement to interns who qualify (based on mileage).

Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.

Day–to-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern.

Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full-time position for the following year. Job Locations

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program graduating between December 2022 and May 2024

Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Able to complete a 16-week internship in the summer (May – August 2022)

Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance Preferred Qualifications

Overall 3.0 GPA or higher
