The Benefits Specialist will provide human resource services spanning payroll, benefits and other transactions. In this role, you will ensure efficient service center operations, technology and transactions. Key Accountabilities
Work under established guidelines to create standards and procedures to handle employee questions and transactions and administer benefit programs.
Coordinate services with the human resource information systems, program managers and technology specialists.
Coordinate inquires to and from benefit providers.
Support management of the organization benefit programs.
With guidance, analyze and modify benefit policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Contribute to analyzing statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations to improve organization’s personnel policies and practices.
Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Experience or working knowledge in benefits administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP/HR Payroll system
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
Experience supervising and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframe
Experience in a manufacturing industry or organization
Bilingual English-French Position Information
