Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Shift(s) Available: Night – 10:45pm to 7:00am – Sunday night to Friday morning
Compensation: $36,04 CAD/hr
Principal Accountabilities:
Utilize and work with maintenance trades and components such as pumps, tanks, motors, mixers, augers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.
Documenting completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic use of a computer
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance
Must be able to perform maintenance trades including mechanical maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a Millwright certification
Forklift certified
Experience in computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of inventory systems
Able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.
Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, welding, pipe fitting and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, lubrication, pumps and piping systems.
