Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Teaching Excellence and Innovation (TE&I), the Educational Development Facilitator, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for the support and implementation of teaching and learning resources and programs that align with current areas of strategic focus. This includes broad areas such as student engagement, the integration of experiential learning and other high impact practices, indigenization of the curriculum, students-as-partners, research as pedagogy, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). The subject focus of this position will regularly adapt to be in alignment with TLS and Carleton strategic priorities as they relate to teaching and learning. The Educational Development Facilitator, Strategic Initiatives plays an integral role in support and implementation of the University’s strategic priorities as they relate to teaching and learning.

Health and Safety Requirements
This position is regularly required to work on campus in person. If this happens, you will work with your direct manager to set up a remote work environment including discussing appropriate technology and requirements. If required to work remotely, you will be notified by your manager when working full time physically onsite will resume.
