CHANEL Looking for Operations Assistant at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Reports to: Operations Manager

Contract: Full-time and permanent position.

Your role @Chanel:

The assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions to assist Operations Manager. They will partner with Operations Manager to supervise, motivate, and coach the back of house team to ensure all store operational functions are delivered with the highest level of client satisfaction.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

• Maintain all transfer and adjustment records
• Maintain COG, alteration, and on-loan logs
• Reconcile daily invoices. Send to the accounting team
• Keep stockroom and back of house well-organized

REPAIRS:

• Maintain records of all customer repairs
• Communicate the status of repairs to customers and sales staff

BOUTIQUE SUPPLIES:

• Ensure an adequate stock of boutique supplies and order as necessary

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING:

• Receiving and checking of all incoming and outgoing merchandise
• Meticulously maintain all shipping/receiving records

INVENTORY:

• Assisting with the preparation & organization of inventories/cycle counts
• In partnership with Boutique Management respond to transfer requests daily

SUPERVISION:

• Supervise and coach Back of House team members
• Support Operations Manager in delivering back of house objectives and goals

What you will bring to the role:

• Successful experience of at least 3-5 years in retail operations and/or stock experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving;
• Customer service oriented;
• Detail oriented; excellent organizational skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Comfortable working with different departments and teams;
• Fluent English, French a plus.
