Chatters Limited Partnership Looking for Accounts Payable Associate (Contract) at Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area Full Time

Chatters LP is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Associate that knows how to get things done, to join our growing Accounting team.

This exciting opportunity will be based in our Red Deer Office reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

This is a 6 month contract with a hybrid work role.

A little about the role:

• Processing of vendor invoices (approx. 250 entries per week) including review of GL coding, approvals, PO 3-way matching, and data entry
• Processing of credit card and employee expenses in SAPConcur
• In conjunction with purchasing department, follow-up and resolving PO, receiving and invoice variances
• Maintain filing and records management systems, updating vendor files and payment methods
• Reconcile monthly statements and vendor ledger accounts.
• Assist with completing payments via wire transfers, EFT, and cheques on a timely basis and according to corporate policies
• Assist in general accounting duties and month end accruals, analysis, reporting and reconciliations

A little about your qualifications:

• Experience in Accounts Payable processing and understanding of the full cycle accounting
• Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and troubleshoot
• Experience with financial processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting is an asset
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experiences in SAPConcur and in NAV or LS Business Cental ERP program are considered an asset.
• You’re a quick learner with a strong work ethic and a multi-tasker
• While you work well on your own, you also enjoy being part of a team
