About the Job
We are looking for a talented Intermediate Software Developer to join our team in designing and developing our popular cloud-based booking and e-commerce application. You’ll get to learn and gain hands-on experience in a team-based, agile-friendly work environment with our unique industry and customers.
Please note the preferred location for this role is Victoria, BC, but we are open to hiring remotely within Canada.
You are
A creative intermediate software developer with a passion for technology and innovation. You enjoy a team environment and collaborating with others to produce the best product possible.
Ideally, you should have
3+ years experience developing production-quality software at a high scale
A deep knowledge in web technologies. We use PHP, Symfony, ReactJS, Javascript, Typescript, Docker, and PostgreSQL but it’s ok not to have everything in this list
Familiarity with source control systems, such as Git
A passion for learning the latest technologies and standards
Great attention to detail and data security
The ability to help mentor less experienced developers
Previous experience in developing SaaS software, or service based business
Great at prioritizing tasks and taking ownership of your work
Experience developing or working with enterprise cloud applications
The ability to create working, tested code with minimal supervision
Experience creating RESTful APIs with superb documentation
Experience with test automation
