CIMCO is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor at their Manufacturing facility in Burlington.
Role Responsibilities
• Monitors work progress and quality to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Be responsible for overseeing a team of employees on the shop floor.
• Ensures that all work is being performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and instruction to workers regarding safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents or violations.
• Collaborates with Foreman and Lead hands to coordinate work activities and schedules.
• May be involved in the hiring and training of new workers.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
• Past pipe and vessel experience is an asset.
• Familiar, or worked with TSSA.
• Supervisory or Foreman experience required.
• Ability to effectively manage and coach, and mentor a team of employees.
• Ability to perform hands on training or coaching.
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Good computer skills.
