CIP Modular is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to transport modular buildings on Vancouver Island and throughout BC. Most work will be local to the island, though some trips will require a few nights away from home at a time.
The successful candidates must be dedicated and motivated individuals interested in further developing their skills.
Requirements:
- Class 1 Drivers License.
- Must have commercial driving experience with wide load experience.
- Must be mechanically inclined and understand all aspects of semi trucks and trailers, and be able to troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues as needed.
- Experience and understanding of modular buildings greatly preferred.
- Must be physically fit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Some site-specific and modular-specific training will be provided.
- Based in Nanaimo, working primarily in British Columbia. Most work will be local to the island, though the flexibility to do some remote work for up to three weeks at a time is required.
- Flexible schedule.
