CityLux Boutique is a women’s clothing store founded right here in Vancouver. We carry outfits for every occasion. Whether it’s for date night, a birthday, a stagette, baby shower, wedding or gala, we’ve got styles for all occasions covered.

Here are some of the recurring responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, identifying their needs and helping them to find the perfect outfit
• Establishing a client base, keeping track of customer preferences and proactively contacting your own clients when new items arrive that fit their style
• Cashier responsibilities such as processing sales and exchanges
• Processing online orders, shipping packages at the local post office
• Various merchandising activities such as daily stock maintenance, stock receiving, stock processing, hanging clothes and floor changes.
• Product care such as hanging, folding and steaming
• Keeping the store clean such as vacuuming, removing garbage and taking out the recycling
• Helping to organize events such as photoshoots, collaborations with other companies and customer appreciation events.
• Marketing tasks such as preparing product images and adding them to the website, creating graphics for social media
• Helping to write blogs or captions for social media posts
• Modelling products for website or social media from time to time
• Helping with basic bookkeeping such as expense tracking and filing
• Maintaining a professional appearance consistent with our established dress code and image guideline

Job Requirements

• Excellent English communication, second language is a bonus
• Previous experience in a sales capacity is desired but not a requirement
• An ideal candidate would have experience in a customer success environment
• A sense of style that aligns with our brand

Schedule & Compensation

• We’re open 7 days a week 362 days a year. Shifts can be scheduled during the day, evening, weekends and on holidays.
• Shifts are typically set two weeks in advance, but they can change last minute if needed
• Compensation is hourly and will vary based on experience. Range is between $16 to $20 per hour.
