We are hiring Pipefitters to work on a Turnaround, based on a client site in Grande Prairie, AB. This position is expected to start on May 9th, 2023, until May 15th, 2023 and there will be opportunity for high performing employees to transfer to future projects.
What would you be doing?
Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
Maintain and repair piping systems.

Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate (Red Seal certificate, if out of province).
Picker Truck.
Valid and up-to-date tickets:H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Pro, CSO.
Enjoy a varied workload.
Must have your own reliable transportation.
Proficiency in English verbal and written communication skills are required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
Perks of the job
Journeyperson Rate $46.00/hr; DSP Journeyperson Rate $50.00/hr.
Picker Truck Rate $40.00/hr.
Camp Job.
Schedule is straight through, 10 hrs shift.
Benefits after 300 hours of work.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
