We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators local to Fort McMurray to join our team. Your expertise in safely operating and communicating with other operators on site will be crucial to ensuring the successful completion of our projects.
This is a permanent opportunity based locally in Fort McMurray with bussing provided to and from site each workday. The ideal candidate for this role will be local to Fort McMurray.
What would you be doing?
Operating a Haul Truck or other heavy equipment in an open pit mine.
Operating assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.
Participating in all safety and culture building programs.
Training on new equipment when requested.
Does this sound like you?
At least 2000 hours of work experience operating 773+ Haul Truck, Articulating Truck, D6+ Dozer OR 250+ Excavator, Loader or Grader.
Valid driver’s license with 3-year drivers abstract required.
Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
High school diploma and/or post-secondary degree considered an asset.

Pay rates up to $42.01 per hour + benefits.

6/6 schedule.
