We are looking for a candidate who will support the recruitment team with onboarding craft candidates coming into our organization. The mission of this role is to ensure our newly hired candidates are orientated and ready to join our turnaround projects and respective teams.
This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. The role also qualifies for our remote working program.
What you’ll be doing:
Aid in the recruitment process where you will create onboarding packages for projects, shutdowns, and turnarounds to be distributed to newly hired candidates to ensure they are processed on time to meet project schedule.
Gather essential information to complete sign on packages from newly hired candidates.
Validate information is correct such as safety tickets, trade tickets, abstract prior to candidate arriving on site.
Continuously update our applicant tracking system ensuring information is correct and updated.
Manage relationships including hiring managers, internal stakeholders, and candidates.
Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in an environment which can see constant change.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have at least 2 years’ experience in recruitment administration with construction placements would be an asset.
Experience prioritizing high volume, high priority tasks and be able to respond quickly.
Knowledge of recruitment software, including online recruitment sites.
Recruitment agency experience would be considered an asset.
Have strong software skills in excel for tracking the status of 100’s of people, adobe e-sign, applicant tracking systems, and MS Office.
Are incredibly organized and follow set processes to ensure every new hire meets the requirements of the location and project they will be working on.
Strong communicator and the ability to deal with many different personality types.
