Requires a Full Time Probationary Cosmetology Teacher

Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a full time probationary teaching position at the Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus commencing August 27, 2024 and concluding June 30, 2025. Located in Stettler, Alberta, Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus is a vibrant and modern school with approximately 670 students in grades 7-12.

This teaching assignment entails delivering instruction in both junior and senior high cosmetology courses, alongside other subject areas depending on the teacher’s qualifications and areas of expertise. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to teach a broad range of courses beyond the scope of CTS. Expertise in additional subjects would be highly valued.

The successful applicant will be a highly organized, student focused teacher who works well in a collaborative team oriented environment and focuses on building professional and effective relationships with students. In addition to effective teaching practices, the applicant must demonstrate strong understanding and commitment to industry standards in Cosmetology. Experience using a wide variety of technology tools in a learning setting, effective classroom management, ability to communicate with students and parents, and ability to establish high expectations for student learning are valuable skills. Preference will be given to certificated teachers who possess a journeyperson designation in a related field.
