The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Senior Process Design Engineer to join our Business Management Team. Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office. Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 151 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON. Reporting to Senior Manager, Business Management, the Senior Process Design Engineer will work with Business Partners in the evaluation of initiatives to determine impacts to process. Core duties include end to end process mapping and design or redesigning the business processes to improve operational efficiencies. This exciting new role will be an integral part in supporting Aviso’s enhancement of our operational processes and our client experience journey during our business transformation. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization What your day looks like: Define and align on approach, including the business problem to be solved, business objectives, scope of effort and success metrics End to end business reviews and root cause analysis using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology End to end process mapping and design or redesign of the business processes to improve operational efficiencies Quantify benefits to assist with prioritization of improvement recommendation Establish metrics and KPIs to drive data informed decisions Influence and gain consensus to drive intended outcomes Planning and implementation of approved recommendations Facilitation, Elicitation and presentation of engagement deliverables and recommendations Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and encourage & support thinking outside of the box Planning and implementation of approved recommendations Mentor Process Analyst(s) and team members Requirements Your experience and skills: Bachelors in BA or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement designation is required 5+ years of financial services and back office operations 5+ years of Business Process Re-Engineering (Current/Future State Process Mapping) as well as Value Stream Mapping 5+ years leading operational and service excellence engagements Solid functional knowledge including but not limited to strategy, business transformation, project management, investment operations Proven ability to interview and collect information throughout an organization and turn into a strategic and systematic improvement program Proven record of high performance and achievement in past positions Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills Excellent presentation building/delivery and communication skills Exceptional relationship building skills – ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset Benefits Why Aviso Wealth? Salary This position is posted with an expected salary range of $110,000 – $120,000 CAD annually.
