Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Media (Hybrid Remote)

Location: Vancouver, BC

Annual Salary: $70,000 – $75,000

We are looking for a digital savvy, highly organized Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Media to join our COBS Bread team.

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Digital Customer Experience, you are responsible for customer acquisition and conversion from paid media traffic sources.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and optimize the channel investment strategy to generate traffic and sales to COBS Bread digital properties and COBS Bread Bakeries ensuring return on ad-spend is carefully considered
• Develop and recommend paid budget against seasonal campaigns, traffic, and sales forecasts
• Manage the setup of paid advertising channels such as Meta, Google Ads, display and affiliates networks, as well as others as they emerge
• Contribute to effective copy writing that meets customer needs and keyword demand
• Maintain a keyword research strategy to target non-branded search opportunities
• Work with analysts and BI team to create audience segmentation to drive business results and to develop accurate channel specific traffic and sales forecast
• Monitor campaign performance from paid channels and provide data-driven recommendations to improve in-bakery and e-commerce funnel performance
• Contribute to and execute on SEO strategy to drive non-branded search traffic to company website and COBS Bread bakeries
• Collaborate with SEO experts to carefully implement SEM strategy that compliments the organic strategy
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate will meet each of the points below and hopefully some of those in the ‘bonus points’ section too!

• 3+ years of experience with SEM and other paid media channels including Meta and Google
• Experience using Google Analytics or other comparable analytics platform to drive business goals
• Experience improving customer experience with an emphasis on multiple retail channels
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• A proven track record delivering return on ad-spend
• Ability to think critically when evaluating new projects and other teams’ requests
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Pro-active work approach demonstrating high level of initiative and urgency
• An aptitude for problem solving

Bonus points for:

• Experience in food service or retail as asset, experience in franchising would be beneficial
• Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Finance or other related discipline desirable
• Knowledge of Retail and/or Franchising businesses
