From providing spotless cutlery and sparkling glasses and ensuring adequate amounts of clean supplies are available to ensuring the cleanliness of Guest areas, AS A Brassica dish team member, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of quality and quality service to the Guest. The main responsibility of your position is to maintain a constant supply of spotlessly clean glassware, cutlery, plates, and pots & pans and ensuring impeccable cleanliness for Guest washrooms and floor areas throughout the restaurant.
The Guest’s dining experience is impacted not only by clean dishes and glasses, but also by efficient service, good food and a clean environment that’s buzzing with activity and smiles all around.
Dish team members also play an important role in the profitability of the restaurant by ensuring that the dish machine and chemicals are used efficiently and economically, as well as by minimizing breakage of items.
Experience in a restaurant setting of at least 2 years is most desirable, but training will also be provided. Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service to all guests.
Ability to work in a team environment and a fast paced setting
Knowledgeable in proper floor maintenance practises
Adhering to recipes and standards of Coho Collective Kitchens if called upon to prep
Well versed in CAYG and FIFO
Cleaning and sanitizing of all kitchen equipment and dish machine operation
Working with the chef team to ensure menu knowledge prior to service
Attends pre-service meetings daily.
Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations as per Provincial Health and company standards.
Reports to the Executive Chef
Requirements:
1+ years of experience working in a professional kitchen.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Strong motivational and leadership skills.
