LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST- Saint John, NB
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Manager of Training, the LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST is responsible to ensure all employees are provided with the knowledge they need to perform their roles today and to prepare them for future growth and development within the company.
KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and deploying blended learning solutions
- Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs
- Apply adult learning theories and principles to ensure employees benefit from their learning experience
- Designing a range of learning interventions – including technical, behavioural and leadership programs
- Driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD)
- Facilitating learning events (training classes and others)
- Creating a continuous learning culture within our organization
- Monitoring and communicating effectiveness of training offerings
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Previous experience in adult education and course development
- Excellent technology, planning, administrative and organizational skills
- Proven results with CPD and LMS
- Experience in security industry and/or Designated Veteran Status considered an asset
- Must have or be able to obtain Government of Canada Level II (Secret level) security clearance
