The Product Sales Executive (PSE) for Enterprise Technology Sales will thrive in networking and take a consultative approach with customers in order to secure new logos and new business within existing clients. Our ideal candidate will have experience with data centers selling network equipment (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Cables), desktops, laptops, servers, storage solutions, power generator, cooling and towers.
What We Need & What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Sells company products to local and/or national accounts and/or to your territory through sales calls and sales presentations to both existing and prospective customers. This includes interacting directly with the customer, determining the customer needs, and evaluating sales potential.
Evaluates customer needs, quotes product and service bids, presents business/technology solutions and makes value-added sales proposals to both existing and potential customers (demonstrates application of solutions/turning technology into business solutions). Meets individual sales quota within an assigned area and/or accounts and maintains a client base by selling services and/or products to both existing and potential customers. Responsible for growing sales revenue for product business and growing targeted markets (growing assigned territories).
Establishes, maintains, and coordinates an effective partnership with external client resulting in product sales. Acts as a liaison between the customer and the company to resolve issues/close sales. Build/maintain relationships with OEMs (ie. holds ongoing meetings, etc.).
Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with internal key stakeholders/partners and internal resources. Responsible utilizing cross-functional assistance as needed (ie. Consulting, Marketing and Proposal Services, etc.) to close sales
Leveraging tools and new technologies to prospect new customers; Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) including ensuring all data is complete/up to date/accurate. Ensure completion of order entry/invoicing/customer processes for all ongoing, client-related business.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
Education and Experience
College BS or BA degree preferred
6+ years’ experience as an individual contributor selling technology, managed services, etc. and/or proven success with multi-technology sales (hardware tech/product sales preferred)
Knowledge and experience in the Information Technology (IT) field
Related certifications a plus but not required: Certifications should demonstrate the application solutions/turning technology into business solutions including Product Sales learnings/applications, Marketplace Experience, etc.

Verbal communication skills: You must be able to provide concise information about the products you are selling. Excellent communication skills, excellent selling skills and excellent negotiation skills.
Listening skills: The ability to listen well in order to understand others allows you to respond to your customers’ needs, wants, and concerns.
Technical Compentencies
A digitally savvy individual with the ability to quickly learn/exploit evolving digital tools and analytics
Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn), life cycle services, Microsoft modern desktop, enterprise and commodity hardware is preferred
