Matrix is hiring a permanent, full-time Regional Sales Manager for our amazing client in Edmonton, AB. The role of Regional Sales Manager will require an experienced, reliable and passionate individual for sourcing new business opportunities through a combination of various sales techniques. This will involve networking, cold calling, social media outreach, direct emailing, participation in shows, events, associations and other proactive prospecting methods.The pay range is $120K-$140K/ per year, depending on experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively position the company and its products to meet the current and future needs of customers.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong and long-term and meaningful business relationships with customers.
- Ensure that customer relations are maintained at a high level by regularly visit and/or calling sites.
- Contact and meet with customers to discuss all of the aspects of the RFP’s / Proposals and close opportunities.
- Preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management.
- Recognize opportunities for growth and implement strategies that will enhance customer satisfaction, company market share and profitability.
- Work with the internal marketing coordinator to develop client call strategies.
- Participation in business conferences and trade shows.
- Regularly carry out sales audits and forecasts, create and present proposals, generate and monitor revenue and company expenses.
- Stay abreast of trends in the industry by maintaining adequate field, industrial, and competitive contacts to anticipate and keep abreast of developments in markets, products, prices, promotion and other related functions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in direct business development of industrial construction related industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, functions and employees in all business units (corporate, operations and field personnel).
- High degree of technical/mechanical aptitude in order to maximize your project knowledge and help guide customers to solutions.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to drive budgets and sales planning initiatives.
- Ability to travel locally and non-local travel by car or air travel.
- Strong knowledge of quotation and proposal processes.
Requirements:
- Fulfill requirements necessary to enter an industrial facility inclusive of wearing proper PPE and obtain site orientation and access to the meet with customer personnel and walk the site.
